The Department of Conservation receives dead native birds from members of the public and stores these to be used in the making of Korowai. This workshop is an opportunity for skilled practitioners in this art to share their knowledge with the community.

We will visiti sites of historic interest, recounting stories of the settlement of Ngati Toa in these areas, including the relevance these sites had in the past and continue to have in the present day.
